Old Spitalfields Markets are covered Victorian markets in Spitalfields, just outside the City of London, near Liverpool St Station. There has been a market on the site since 1638 and it is now newly renovated and shiny, full of beautiful clothes, slightly expensive home wares and lots of beautiful artwork.
The Spitalfields Traders Market is open Monday to Friday from 10am – 5pm and on Sundays from 9am – 5pm. The Spitalfields Arts Market on Market Street is open monthly from March to December. The Traders Markets are surrounded by fine restaurants, independent boutique shops, contemporary market stalls full you can purchase anything from antiques and vintage designer fashion and contemporary accessories.

Tube – The closest tube station is Liverpool Street Station (Metropolitan Line, Circle Line, Hammersmith & City line and Central line) is a 5 minute walk away.
Cycle – There are many Barclays Cycle Hire Docks in East London.
Bus –8, 242, 149 and 67 are the buses that pass close to the markets. Please see the Transport for London website for further information.
Car – parking is very limited but you can find some parking at the Truman Brewery on Hanbury Street and Brick Lane or the local council parking at Whites Row Car Park.
